Lagotto Romagnolo Breed Information
The Lagotto Romagnolo originates from Italy. As a member of the Sporting Group, the Lagotto is an excellent retriever with an exceptional sense of smell. The Lagotto has a wonderful temperament, is affectionate and very devoted to his family. The Lagotto is generally easily trained and always eager to please making him a great companion as well as a good watch dog.
The Lagotto’s coat is non-shedding so this is a breed that is considered a good option for people suffering from allergies. They do, however, need regular grooming with clipping three to four times per year.
